Cartmel Valley Game Supplies & Smokehouse is based in the beautiful village of Cartmel in the Lake District and is run by Jonathan, Susan & Georgina Stott. Jonathan, who is locally known as Stotty, established their business in 1994, processing and providing locally sourced high quality game and home smoked products.
Jonathan and Susan operate a thriving game processing business from their Lakeland home, supported by their fully registered EC (4837) game plant. Working alongside a team of skilled and dedicated professionals, they ensure every piece of game is carefully handled. All game is hung in temperature-controlled conditions, inspected by FSA meat inspectors, and then expertly processed to the highest standards.
“We source as much local game as possible from Shooting Estates throughout the Lake District.
Cartmel Valley Game currently supplies over a hundred top-quality hotels in and around the Lake District, offering only the finest game. Our selection ranges from pheasants, grouse, partridge, venison, rabbits, and hares to our unique beech-flavoured smoked salmon, smoked trout, smoked pigeon, smoked butter and more which are all cured and smoked on the premises. We can also supply locally picked Morecambe Bay shrimps.
Georgina joined the business 10 years ago, bringing her expertise and passion to the team alongside Jonathan and Susan. Together, they continue to uphold the excellent reputation we have built over the last 35 years, a reputation we are immensely proud of.
